John H. Williams

June 15, 1966 – November 3rd, 2016

On November 3, 2016 we lost a son, a brother and great friend, John Williams, to suicide. His smile will be forever engrained in the memories of everyone who was fortunate enough to know him. He was always an inspiration to those he met. People travelled far and wide just to walk into that bar because he wasn’t just a bartender, he was family. Those that knew him would do anything for him without question. We will never know why this happened, all we can do now is spread the word of hope. And if we save ONE life along the way, it was worth it. Rest easy, John.

Memories of John

He was always someone that listened to everyone’s story. He had the smile to light up the entire room. My guidance when I needed it and even when I didn’t. His team was mine and mine was his. Go Sox. My Legend.

Danny Englert

I met John when I was 18. He was always like an older brother to me. He taught me everything I know about bartending. Some of our favorite moments were spent at the end of the night, closing down the bar, laughing and telling stories. I will miss that laugh forever.
